These Terms and Conditions govern your use of nokocha.com and your purchase of any products from us. Please read them carefully. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

In these Terms, "we", "us", "our" and "NOKOCHA" mean Aspiring Venture Solutions Sdn Bhd. "You" means the person placing an order or using this website.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. If you are under 18, you may only use this website with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who will be responsible for the order.

3. Our products

We sell ceremonial grade matcha powder, a natural food product made from ground green tea leaves.

  • Matcha is an agricultural product. Colour, aroma and flavour vary naturally between harvests and batches. Slight variation is normal and is not a defect.
  • Product photographs, illustrations and characters on this website are for presentation purposes. Packaging design may be updated from time to time.
  • Net weight is stated on each product page and on the pouch. Weights are subject to normal settling during transit.

4. Food information, allergens and health

Please read this section before consuming our products.

  • Caffeine. Matcha naturally contains caffeine. If you are sensitive to caffeine, pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking medication, please consult a medical professional before consuming matcha.
  • Not medical advice. Nothing on this website is medical or nutritional advice. Our products are food, not medicine, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any illness.
  • Allergens. Our matcha contains 100% green tea leaves with no additives, fillers, sugar or colouring. It may be handled in facilities that also process other foods. If you have a known allergy or intolerance, contact us before ordering.
  • Storage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong odours. Once opened, reseal the pouch tightly. Keeping it in the fridge after opening is best for preserving colour and flavour — let the pouch come back to room temperature before opening it, so condensation does not form inside.
  • Best before. Our pouches do not currently carry a printed best before date. Matcha is at its best soon after milling, so we recommend consuming it within 2 months of opening. It does not become unsafe after that, but the colour dulls and the flavour loses its brightness.

5. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A confirmation email acknowledges that we received your order; it does not mean we have accepted it. A contract is formed only when we dispatch the goods.

We may decline or cancel an order, in whole or in part, where:

  • the product is out of stock;
  • the price or product description was published in error;
  • we cannot obtain payment authorisation;
  • we suspect fraud, abuse, or resale in breach of these Terms; or
  • the delivery address is outside our serviceable area.

If we cancel a paid order for any of these reasons, we will refund the amount paid for that order to the original payment method.

6. Prices and payment

  • All prices are shown in Malaysian Ringgit (RM).
  • Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders already dispatched.
  • Shipping charges, where applicable, are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Payment is taken at the time of checkout through our payment provider. We do not store your full card details.
  • If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even if the order was confirmed.

7. Shipping and delivery

Delivery timeframes, charges and coverage are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you provide.

8. Returns and refunds

Because matcha is a consumable food product, returns are limited. Our Refund Policy sets out exactly what is covered, and forms part of these Terms. In summary: we replace products that arrive with damaged packaging, and we do not issue cash refunds. Please read the Refund Policy in full before ordering.

9. Intellectual property

The NOKOCHA name, logo, the Noko character and all other characters, artwork, photography, text and design on this website are owned by or licensed to Aspiring Venture Solutions Sdn Bhd. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or use them commercially without our prior written permission.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this website to break any law, to interfere with its operation or security, to scrape or harvest data, to resell our products without written authorisation, or to submit false or misleading information.

11. Third-party links and services

This website may link to third-party sites and uses third-party services for payments, delivery and analytics. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of third parties.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

13. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including courier disruption, natural disasters, public health measures, strikes, or failures of utilities or telecommunications.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
